🚫 Absolute Contraindications (No waxing until resolved):
• Active sunburn or heat rash in the area to be waxed
• Open wounds, cuts, or infections
• Active herpes (cold sores) in the area
• Skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis on the treatment area
• Recent chemical peels or laser treatments (within 7–14 days)
• Accutane use (within the last 6–12 months)
• Recent Botox or filler injections (wait at least 7 days for facial waxing)

⚠️ Relative Contraindications (Consultation or adjustments may be needed):
• Use of topical retinoids (Retin-A, Tretinoin, Differin, etc.) – may cause skin lifting; facial waxing should be avoided
• Thin or sensitive skin
• Recent use of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs)
• Pregnancy – waxing is generally safe, but sensitivity may be increased
• Diabetes – skin may be slower to heal; proceed with care
• Varicose veins or bruising – avoid waxing over these areas
• Recent tanning or sun exposure – may increase risk of irritation

To ensure the best results and protect your skin and brows, please review the following conditions that may prevent or delay your brow lamination service:

• Broken, irritated, or inflamed skin around the brow area
• Eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis near the brows
• Active acne or open lesions on or around the brows
• Recent microblading or brow tattooing (must wait 6–8 weeks minimum)
• Recent chemical peels or laser treatments (within 7–14 days)
• Eye infections or conditions (conjunctivitis, styes, etc.)
• Severe allergies or sensitivities to hair dyes, tints, or perming solutions
• Sunburn or excessive sun exposure near the brow area

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding (due to hormonal sensitivity—patch test recommended)
• Have very sparse or brittle brow hairs
• Use Retin-A, AHAs/BHAs, or Accutane (skin may be too sensitive or prone to reaction)
• Have very sensitive skin or a history of allergic reactions to lash/brow products

• Recent surgery or facial trauma
